Library Services
SST offers an opportunity to explore a world of knowledge to its staff & students by making accessible a rich collection of print and non-print, primary and secondary material in various disciplines. The College Library supports the academic needs of thousands of students and teachers and has an extensive range of Books, periodicals, magazines on various subjects & non book material like CD’s, Videos, Thesis available for reference. Orientation is given to the students at entry point about the usage of the library, Rules and regulations and the services provided to them. This helps the students to know about library collection, how they can make use of & to know rules and procedures of library.
Computer Lab
The SST College Computer Labs serve as physical learning and study destinations and provide students with the latest computing tools to accomplish their academic goals. The hi-tech computer lab of the College has many latest computers with modern software and Internet access. All computers provide high speed access to the Internet, access to external drives, USB ports, and include the most commonly needed software applications, discipline-specific software, and access to laser printing. The lab is situated at a prime position on the first floor in college building and is supervised by professional IT experts.
Science Lab
The Science laboratories at SST College are well equipped with latest equipment and apparatus to facilitate students with great ease and high end accuracy in conducting their experiments. The laboratory facility caters to the specific set of experiments needed to conduct scientific investigations in areas of Chemistry, Physics & Biology. Advanced level instruments like high tech microscopes, analytical balances, spectroscopic instruments, distillation apparatus, dissection apparatus etc. are used in our Science labs. Safety equipment is also provided to ensure safe working in the labs. Standard Operating procedures, laboratory manuals, safety manuals are maintained and updated and are available to the staff and students.
Skill Development
In today’s business scenario there continues to be a huge gap between the demand and supply of skilled workforce. SST College has created the opportunity for its students to give further depth to their careers by providing skill development programmes and classes which allows the student to learn various aspects of diverse industries and careers. The SST College is an authorized study Centre of Skill India – a campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 15th July 2015 with an aim to train over 40 crore (400 million) people in India in different skills by 2022.
Class Rooms
At SST College our classrooms are spacious, well maintained, ventilated & integrated with technologies to enhance the positive environment and provide positive vibes to gain knowledge and success. Some class rooms are available with multi-media facilities for presentations and hi-tech classes. The equipment is meant to enhance and energize the quality of lectures, tutorials, seminars and other academic exercises and to break the monotony of class room sessions.
