Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Information Technology (IT) is a 2 years’ postgraduate degree program. students will learn how to solve IT issues at workplace, OOP based implementation of algorithms, how to do data management, tree traversal, heaps, dictionaries, depth-first-search, breadth-first-search, and performance analysis of sorting, searching, traversal algorithms, control over of IT functions and projects with the use of latest technology. Software development and networking systems are very comprehensive areas of learning and they can be understood deeply by doing this course. The course adds to students qualifications with a Master’s degree, and helps you build a strong foundation of Computer Systems, IT and advanced programming languages. It also instills in you the managerial ability required to analyse, design, develop, and maintain software.

After this course candidates will be able to handle digital commerce, software development and can achieve organizational goals. Also they can control the maintenance of software networks to handle the technological challenges.

Eligibility

A candidate for being eligible for admission to M.Sc. (I.T.) shall have passed B.Sc. degree in Information Technology of University of Mumbai or any recognized University with minimum 45 percent of marks. OR B.Sc. in Computer Science / BCS with minimum 45% marks. OR B.E. degree in any branch with minimum 45 percent of marks. OR B.Sc. (Mathematics) with a minimum of 45% marks OR B.Sc. (Statistics) with minimum 45% marks OR B.Sc. (Electronics) with minimum 45% marks with mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 or its equivalent examination.
