About
M.Sc. in Computer Science a 2-year post graduate computer science course. It is the scientific and practical approach to computation and its applications and the systematic study of the feasibility, structure, expression, and mechanization of the methodical procedures or algorithms that underlie the acquisition, representation, processing, storage, communication of, and access to information. This subject is fully application oriented and that covers all the methodologies that are used to develop a software product by utilizing all the advanced networking technologies and application software.
This course also provides the wide programming knowledge and computer hardware and software. The range of computing applications and their importance have in rapidly emerging fields that include developments in artificial life, computer version, robotics, mobile devices and game applications. On successful completion of this course, the students are eligible to work in both public and private sectors and those may also include all the MNC’s comprising of the IT companies, data centers, cloud-based organizations, networking fields, etc. studntes get the positions based upon their interest be like Software developer, database administrator, technical analyst, web developer, professor, network administrator, etc.
Eligibility
A candidate who has either passed Bachelor’s Degree Examination of University of Mumbai in Science or equivalent degree of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto with one of the following as major subject MAJOR ANCILIARY Mathematics OR Physics Mathematics OR Statistics Mathematics OR The Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree examination OR The B.Sc. (Computer Science) / BCS / B.Sc. (I.T.) Degree Examination.
