A Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, (abbreviated BSIT or B.Sc IT), is a Bachelor’s degree awarded for an undergraduate course or program in the Information technology field. The Course structure is primarily focused on subjects such as software, databases, and networking. Program teach students the foundations of computer systems, including programming, algebra, operating systems and network security. Concentration options include application development, business systems and database technologies. After completing the course students are hired in capacities such as Programmer, PHP Developer, Oracle PL/SQL Developer, Quality Analyst, IT Specialists, Technology Engineer, Technical Consultant, Software Developer, Graphic Designer, etc. They are hired in areas such as Educational Institutes, Space Research Institutes, Hospitals, Health Care Providers, Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology Industry, Chemical Industry, Environmental Management and Conservation, Forensic Crime Research, Research Firms, Testing Laboratories, and such.
Eligibility
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the degree course in Bachelor of Science – Information Technology. shall have passed XII Std. Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from any other board at one and the same sitting with Mathematics as one of subject.

Candidates who have passed Diploma in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Technology / Information Technology / Electrical, Electronics & Video branches of Engineering after S.S.C. ( Standard) are eligible for direct admission to the Second Year of the B Sc. (I. T.) degree course. However, the Diploma should be recognized by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education or any other recognized Government body

Students Post HSC Diploma in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Technology / information Technology and Allied Branches will be eligible for direct admission the Second Year of B.Sc (IT) However the Diploma should be recognized by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education on any other recognized (Government body).
