It is undoubtedly a competitive world today. Students are constantly challenged and pushed to redefine their limits and broaden their horizons. Amidst all this struggle and a fierce competition, what students need the most today is not just an institution which teaches them the curriculum and enables them to pass exams but someone who would guide them to deal with the challenges of reality and help them realise their full potential. All this is incomplete without proper guidance and a nurturing environment which suits and encourages the capabilities of these unique kids. 

Acknowledging the need of the hour, SST College of Arts and Commerce initiated the Competitive Exam Training Residential Camps in the year —. Students from not just our institution but from remote corners of the district are invited to enhance their skills at the 7-day residential training camp. With the help of expert speakers and skilled officers, the students experience an overall development in terms of academics as well as real-life skills such as meditation and defence, critical thinking and logical reasoning, individuality and leadership skills, societal responsibility and national duties, and so on. The exacting training is coupled with light-hearted and motivational sessions of togetherness and companionship. 

To carry a vision of a developed India, it is essential that the youth of today turn into the able workforce of tomorrow. With efficient bureaucracy and sound administration of our nation, India will achieve the dream of becoming a superpower in no time. The foundational blocks of this advancement lies at the heart of India’s students. To compete in challenging exams such as GATE, UPSC-MPSC, GRE, Banking and Railway Exams, etc., our college has strived hard to increase the number of examinees and encourage them to pursue higher studies. These camps have incited the students to strengthen their goals and work dedicatedly toward its achievement. With various activities, seminars, workshops, mock exams, and the right guidance, SST College of Arts and Commerce provides holistic counselling to the aspirants of competitive exams, the leaders of tomorrow.

Aims and Objectives

  1. To prepare and guide students for high-level examinations such as UPSC, MPSC, GATE, GRE, NET, SET, Banking and Railway Exams, so on.
  2. To encourage them to pursue higher studies and realize their capabilities while constantly working on their weak points.
  3. To transform young individuals into responsible and moral citizens with a keen sense of social and civil awareness, and a drive to contribute greatly to society.
  4. To train and equip them with the necessary market/industry skills.
  5. To conduct and arrange guest lectures to broaden their perspectives and make them adaptable enough to course through real-life situations.
  6. To develop critical thinking skills while not losing sight of their sensitivity and compassion.
  7. To inculcate a sense of duty and responsibility toward society.
  8. To address their needs and problems and guide them correctly in choosing a suitable career.
  9. To provide a nurturing environment and experiential learning space.
