About
The Junior College at S.S.T. College of Arts & Commerce offers post-secondary education designed to prepare students for higher studies, skilled trades, technical occupations, and professional roles in fields such as engineering, accountancy, and business administration.
Our objective is to mould young learners into cultured, conscientious, and responsible citizens, equipped to shoulder responsibilities in various spheres of national and international life. We also focus on building self-confidence and self-esteem, enabling students to face future challenges with resilience.
In Maharashtra, Junior Colleges are governed by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, and the duration of the course is spread over two years.
At SST College, we proudly offer all three streams – Arts, Commerce, and Science.
Under the Science stream, students also have the option of Bi-Focal in Computer Science, providing them with strong technical skills and an edge for future careers in IT and related fields.
Eligibility
- Students passing the S.S.C (X) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education are eligible for admission to the first year Jr. College (F.Y.J.C).
- Students passing other equivalent examinations from Maharashtra H.S.C Board, Mumbai.
Documents required for Admission
XI-ARTS, SCIENCE AND COMMERCE
Original school leaving certificate along with 2 self-attested photo copies of the same.
Original Mark sheet of the SSC with 2 self-attested photo copies of the same.
Two passport size latest colour photographs.
One recent passport size photograph of parent/guardian.
Address proof (photocopy of ration card/ electricity bill/telephone bill/passport/ driving license/Aadhaar card) anyone.
Caste certificate (if applicable).
Physically challenged candidates should produce the relevant certificate from competent authority.
XII-ARTS, SCIENCE & COMMERCE
Two self-attested photo copies of SSC & XI standard mark sheet.
Two passport size latest color photographs.
Leaving certificate to be submitted by newly admitted students coming from other junior colleges.
One recent passport size color photograph of parent/guardian.
Address proof (photocopy of ration card/ electricity bill/telephone bill/ passport/driving license/Aadhaar card) anyone.
Caste certificate (if applicable) (for Outsider).
